Dr. Pons Miñano is a prestigious specialist in Digestive Apparatus. With more than 30 years of experience, he is considered a great specialist in liver and digestive diseases, obtaining a wide national and international recognition. Over the course of his professional career, he has exercised in various prestigious centers and has been continuously trained, both in Spain and abroad. He is currently FEA of the
Hepatology Service of the Cardiosalus Clinic and the Virgen de la Caridad Medical Center, as well as head of the
Hepatology Service of the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Clinical Hospital.
He combines his care work with teaching, being associate professor at the University of Murcia and teaching collaborator of surgery, liver transplant unit and Department of Surgery of the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca, among others. On the other hand, he contributed to 11 publicly funded projects, 5 of them as principal investigator and 6 as collaborator. He has more than 132 communications in national and international specialty conferences, he is the author and co-author of 150 scientific publications and 24 book chapters, and is also an evaluator of specialty scientific journals.
